Chicken Drive is not applicable to real life driving. Nothing in it is instruction for controlling a real vehicle in real traffic.
This app does not allow you to drive without a licence. It grants no permission, permit or entitlement of any kind. It is not a licence, a certificate, or an official test, and passing a mock exam inside it has no legal standing anywhere.
Road rules differ by country, state and year. Always check the current official highway code for where you actually drive, and learn to drive with a qualified instructor as your local law requires.
Chicken Drive has no accounts, no sign-in and no user profiles. Your lessons, quiz results, streaks, exam history, high scores and photographs stay on your device. We cannot see them, and there is no server holding them.
Two things do leave the device, and only these two:

All of it is stored in the app's own container. Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also erase it at any time from Settings → Your data → Erase all progress.
The sign scanner asks for the camera only when you first tap Take a photo. Choosing an existing image uses the system photo picker, which hands the app the single image you select and nothing else — the app never gets access to your library.
Images are analysed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework and a colour histogram. No photograph is ever uploaded.
When you save a sign to your field log, the app re-encodes a small thumbnail, which strips the original metadata — including GPS coordinates — before it is written to disk.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device and are asked for during onboarding, never on first launch. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
The app also supports remote push via Firebase Cloud Messaging. To make that work,

That pairing is the entire payload. It contains no name, no email address, no contacts, no location and no study data, and it is not used to build a profile or to advertise to you.
Push delivery uses Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google). Those services necessarily process the push token in order to deliver a message. Their handling is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.
Chicken Drive is aimed at learner drivers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, there is nothing about a child to delete.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or an equivalent law.
In practice, because everything except the push pairing is on your device, you exercise all of these yourself: erase your progress in Settings → Your data → Erase all progress, or delete the app. Turning notifications off stops the app registering, and deleting the app invalidates the push token, after which the stored pairing is discarded.
On-device data lives until you erase it or delete the app. The install identifier and push token are kept only while the installation is active, and are deleted once the token is reported invalid by Apple or Google — which is what happens when you turn notifications off or remove the app.
The install identifier is stored in the iOS keychain. Network requests use HTTPS. Because no study data leaves the device, there is no central database of user progress to breach.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, surface it in the app.
